Our Story

Tri-Chandra Research Group History

The Beginning

The Tri-Chandra Research Group (TCRG) was established in 2024 with a vision to promote scientific research and innovation at Tri-Chandra College, one of Nepal's oldest and most prestigious educational institutions. What began as a small initiative by a few passionate faculty members has since grown into a vibrant research community.

In our early days, we focused primarily on building research capacity and infrastructure within the college. Through persistent efforts and collaborations with national and international partners, we have expanded our scope and impact over the years.

Today, TCRG serves as a hub for scientific exploration and academic excellence, bringing together students, faculty, and researchers across various disciplines to pursue innovative research and contribute to Nepal's scientific development.

Mr. Janak Singh Dhami, Founding President

Founding Vision

Tri-Chandra Research Group (TCRG) was founded by Mr. Janak Singh Dhami, an accomplished physicist with expertise in quantum mechanics, along with Dr. Pitri Bhakta Adhikari. They recognized the untapped research potential at Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus and envisioned creating a platform where students and faculty could collaborate on meaningful research projects.

Their vision was to establish TCRG as a hub for scientific inquiry and innovation, contributing to scientific advancement in Nepal while providing opportunities for talented researchers regardless of their background.
